TRAINING DAY INFORMATION
Location and Transport
The day will take place at the Oratory School in Fulham, London. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT THE BROMPTON ORATORY!! The address for the school is Seagrave Road, London SW6 1RX, United Kingdom. Please make sure you check Transport for London in case of tube delays etc.
Timetable
The timetable of the day may change slightly, but you are asked to arrive between 9:45 and 9:55 am, in order for us to start the DBS checks at 10 am. The day should wrap up by about 6pm, depending on how the timetable changes. A light lunch will be provided, so please let us know if you have any dietary requirements (vegetarian etc) by emailing Will at wgcharwood@hotmail.co.uk NO LATER THAN LUNCHTIME ON FRIDAY 26th May.
DBS Checks
If you require a DBS certificate, you will need to bring the following to complete the form:
1) your passport (any nationality); and
2) your driving licence, if you have one (either the counterpart or the photo card) OR proof of your National Insurance number (e.g. the official NI card or a payslip); and
3) one of the following documents for proof of current address (you can cover up the financial details)
· a recent utility bill, or
· a recent bank statement, or
· a credit card statement.
4) your National Insurance Number- this is asked for on the form. If you do not know it, please bring the card.
NB: please bring a BLACK INK PEN to fill in the form.
If you do not bring these documents the completion and processing of your form will be slowed down and we cannot guarantee the arrival of the certificate in time for our departure to Lourdes.
A Note for Lourdes Pilgrims
Everyone should have by now received an email confirming their place on the pilgrimage and inviting them to complete a Google form with further information such as passport details. Please contact Lily on lourdes@omv.org.uk if you haven't.
White Coats
The white doctor’s/ lab coats which all women are required to wear in Lourdes can be purchased for £25 at the induction day if you do not already have one.
Attendance
The induction day is compulsory if you wish to go on your activity, unless you have been told otherwise by your activity organisers. If you cannot attend, please let them know as soon as you can in order to attempt to make alternative arrangements.
